Okay! so after the rather traumatising event of not getting my books on time for expo last, I made sure to get them well in advance this time around, and it all seemed to work out well!

So I can now, with confidence announce that Between Worlds in black and white will be available on the IndieManga table at Expo! woohoo!

This one is only £4 so shouldn't break the ol bank, and it doesn't look too bad at all in black and white if I do say so myself!

For Expo, I shall also have a few of the full colour books if anyone feels dangerous, as well as a budle of shiny shiny postcards of the same old shite. WOOHOO!

About time I got back onto this!

So Expo wil be upon us kind of soonish, and with a bit of luck from the money fairy, I hope to get the black and white a5ish size version of this done up for it (not promising anything, you know how my printing luck is!)

But I am hoping to sell it for only £4 pounds! WOW! so anyone who didnt catch one of the special edition ones can ow choose their poison! (and anyone that bought one of the special edition ones, and for some reason, wants one of these too, just drop me a line, you can has for free shhhhhh)

okay okay! im doing it!

ima gonna write my report on the Birmingham International Comics Show!! wooo!

i know, i know, it was a WHOLE MONTH ago, but im so bad at writing i just kept putting it off but I had such a brilliant time, I have to write!

This con was very special to me for a number of reasons.

1. It was my first con (evar!)
2. the launch of IndieManga!
3. aaaand... my first time meeting the IndieManga girls!! as well as my other friends from the sweatdrop forums! ^^

so where to start... (this is where my crap writing skills come in! ^^;

AHA! where else but the pre-show PAAAAR-TAY!

Kate, Rebecca and I arrived first to an empty bennetts pub where we soon met with the delightful Emma Vieceli and her husband! (i was like a giggly fangirl O_O) i also met Yishan li (again.. giggly fangirl mode LAWL!) while out having a smoke with my new buddy Josef Rother (he called me the other night ^^') we had great conversations up until the point where the band played :( as good as they were, they were so loud we found it hard to talk, so the IndieManga ladies left for their freezing boudoir for the night! (seriously... i could see my breath! O_o;)

next day we headed to THE CON!! WOOT!

Sally had arrived earlier so we managed to follow the red tablecloth to our table! right beside our awesome super friends DIMENSIONAL MANGA! dil offered us a few tricks of the trade... thanks dil.

i was DEEE-LIGHTED to see that there was a Tank Girl seminar on on sunday! (squeeeeal!)
so I was set to go! (rufus dayglo is a babe....^^)

so what did I buy you all ask?

well, i first of all ran over to the "ITCH" table run by the lovely Willie Hewes! and snagged me a shiny copy of "Amaranth" I swear that book is the epitome of cool. i also got "the witch" and "Gothboy"

then onto Emma Vieceli and Sonia Leong's table where I got a copy of "once upon a time" and a LUUURVLY print off Emma (SIGNED TOO! has it up on me wall!)

got "mephistos" (the hot comic it would seem!)

all issues of "fetishman" (very naughty.... very "me")

"left of centre"
"Bahala na"
"a midsummer night's dream"
"the tempest"
and a compilation of stories put together for goal called "sorry I can't take your call, I'm off saving the World" (long name O_o)
"Frankenstien"
"Freak Show"
oh! oh! i forgot "Ambient Rhythm" and "All that matters" by Morag Lewis who I was delighted to meet!

ZOMG..... im gonna stop there.. i may have bought more... but i just cant remember..



anyways... what a con! It was amazing, really, i was sooo excited to meet everyone, when I got home my friends even noticed I was a LOT happier!

lucky I got home tho... they nearly didnt let me on the plane i had so much stuff! (srsly!) I thought i'd need to build a house out of comics in birm airport and live there O_O;

Yes my friends make way!!!
